IMA Futsal League Season 2– Grand Player Auction Concludes with Enthusiasm

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Bareilly Branch successfully hosted the Grand Auction Ceremony for its upcoming Football Tournament IMA Futsal League Season-2, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation among participants. Bids were placed for players across women’s, children’s, and men’s categories, marking a lively beginning to the much-awaited event.

The highest bids went to Mrs. Olha Saxena (₹4100) in the women’s category, Nipun Singh (₹3500) in the children’s category, and Dr. Ravi Varsha (₹7100) & Dr. Ameed Murad (₹5500) in the men’s category. The grand tournament will be held on 14th September at IMA Farm, Dohra Road, Bareilly.

A total of 13 teams will be competing, including Global Strikers, Rohilkhand United, Bareilly NeuroTitans, NeuroKids Smart Strikers, Gangasheel Strikers, SR Warriors, Pratap Eagles, Riddhi Siddhi Achievers, Rainbow Risers, Veedan Invisibles, Vansh United Kids, Shri Ram Strikers, and DG Strikers. Each team is being led by senior doctors as chairpersons, adding prestige and responsibility to the competition.

The ceremony was graced by IMA President Dr. R.K. Singh, Dr. V.V. Singh, Dr. Shalini Maheshwari, Dr. Atul Srivastava, Dr. Abhishek Singh, Dr. Ratan Pal, Dr. Shivam Kamthan, Dr. Sandhya Gangwar, Dr. Himanshu Agarwal, and many other senior doctors who encouraged the participants. The IMA family emphasized that this tournament is not only about competition but also about sportsmanship, brotherhood, and health awareness.

Following the grand success of Season 1 under the leadership of Dr. Rajeev Goel, the demand for Season 2 grew rapidly, leading to this larger-scale event. With teams already beginning practice sessions, expectations are high that this year’s tournament will be a grand success and a memorable celebration of sports and unity.
