IMA Specialty Cricket League – Season 2

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Bareilly successfully organized the Specialty Cricket League – Season 2 at Rohilkhand Medical College. The tournament, held from morning till evening, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of six men’s teams and two women’s teams, turning the event into a vibrant display of fitness, energy, and camaraderie among doctors.

In the men’s category, Orthopedic Warriors (Captain – Dr. R.P. Singh) clinched the title by defeating ENT Eagles (Captain – Dr. Anil Gangwar). Dr. Shashank was named Man of the Tournament, while Dr. Atul Gangwar (Best Batsman), Dr. Hemant Singh (Best Bowler), and Dr. Sumit Mehra (Best Fielder) were also honored. In the women’s category, Royal Divas (Captain – Dr. Parul Varshney) lifted the trophy after defeating Royal Smashers (Captain – Dr. Seema Maheshwari). Awards went to Dr. Parul Kamthan (Player of the Tournament), Dr. Seema Maheshwari (Best Batsman), Mrs. Dalima (Best Bowler), Dr. Deepali (Best Fielder), and Ola Saxena (Special Prize).

IMA President Dr. R.K. Singh, Secretary Dr. Ratanpal, Treasurer Dr. Shivam Kamthan and several senior doctors graced the occasion, encouraging the players and presenting trophies and medals. The event not only highlighted doctors’ passion for sports but also strengthened friendship, fitness, and unity within the IMA family.
